Image loading is now significantly faster across all formats, with major improvements to DNG processing speed and reliability. Memory usage has been optimized, caching improved, and synchronized loading ensures smooth operation even with large batches of images. We've also fixed .frames file import from the macOS menu bar and resolved DNG metadata export issues on older Intel Macs.

Improved Film Roll Management

Swipe gestures now include a Move button, making it faster to relocate film rolls and folders. We've also fixed an issue where TXT exports would omit the year when it matched the current year, ensuring complete date information in all exports.

Frames now supports key Apple accessibility features including Larger Text, Dark Interface, Differentiate Without Color Alone, Sufficient Contrast, and Reduced Motion. These features ensure the app is usable for photographers with different visual needs and preferences, maintaining full functionality regardless of accessibility settings.

Workflow and Metadata Improvements

The app now jumps directly into your new film roll as soon as it's created, streamlining your workflow. Labels throughout the app have been refined for better readability. Custom sequences now automatically fill min/max aperture values, which is particularly useful for metadata reintegration on Mac. We've also fixed motion issues in the recorder when capturing shots with the slider open and corrected value initialization problems in full recorder view.
