Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Vietnamese & 4 More Languages
This major localization release brings Frames to even more film photographers worldwide, adding support for Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Vietnamese, Traditional Chinese, Indonesian, Hong Kong Chinese, and Greek, while refining translations across all existing languages for enhanced clarity and consistency.
Eight New Languages Across Europe and Asia
Frames now supports Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Vietnamese, Traditional Chinese, Indonesian, Hong Kong Chinese, and Greek. Each translation has been carefully crafted to ensure film photography terminology feels natural while maintaining technical accuracy for camera settings, film stocks, and metadata management.
- Nordic Languages: Danish (Dansk), Finnish (Suomi), and Norwegian (Norsk) with native terminology for Scandinavian photographers.
- Asian Languages: Vietnamese (Tiếng Việt), Traditional Chinese (繁體中文), Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia), and Hong Kong Chinese.
- Greek (Ελληνικά): Complete translation for photographers across Greece and Cyprus.

Regional Preferences and Translation Refinements
For Traditional Chinese and Hong Kong Chinese, we've adapted regional preferences for date formats and terminology. The Nordic languages align with how film photographers in these countries discuss their craft. We've also refined existing translations across Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Thai, Polish, Turkish, Swedish, and Hindi based on community feedback.
Frames automatically adopts your iOS language preference. All existing film rolls and camera gear remain intact. The interface simply adapts without data migration or re-entry.
