Filters are now part of your film logging workflow. Record which filters you used for each frame, including UV, ND, CPL, and more. This completes your analog documentation by capturing every element that affects your final image, from the camera body and lens to the film stock and filters. Filter data is included in all exports and syncs with the Mac app for comprehensive record-keeping.

GPX Export & Faster File Generation

Pro users can now export film rolls as GPX files for location tracking. This update also brings performance improvements for faster, more reliable file exports across all formats.

Export your film roll locations as GPX files to visualize shooting locations in mapping applications or import into photo management software. Each frame with location data becomes a waypoint in the GPX track. File export performance has been improved across all formats, making it faster to generate .FRAMES, TXT, and GPX files even for film rolls with many frames.

Centralized Settings & Improved Organization

All app settings are now unified in one centralized Settings page. Manage your gear, subscription, and toolbar preferences from a single location with the same features now easier to access and organize.

We've consolidated scattered settings into one dedicated Settings page. Gear management, subscription details, and interface customization are all accessible from a single menu. This reorganization makes it easier to find what you need without hunting through different parts of the app. All existing functionality remains unchanged, just better organized for faster access.

TIFF File Support

You can now import and export TIFF files with full metadata integration, expanding format support beyond JPEG for professional workflows.

TIFF support arrives on Frames for macOS. Import TIFF scans and embed your film roll metadata with the same workflow you use for JPEG files. TIFF files work seamlessly in the metadata reintegration process, ensuring your analog photography notes travel with your images regardless of format.
